"There are several factors in favour of continued strong earnings growth in Indian equities, namely start of the capex upcycle led by higher state outlays for infrastructure projects, PLI incentives for manufacturing and deleveraged balance sheet of Indian corporates; strong recovery in consumption rising disposable incomes in services sector and real estate demand fuelled by pent-up demand and increasing supply of credit."

The company proposes to utilise the net proceeds from the fresh issue towards debt payment, funding working capital requirements, and investment in its wholly-owned subsidiary Raneal Advanced Systems to fund its capital expenditure and general corporate purposes.

"We are now entering a period of correction of this trend, by most global central banks. Hence, it will be safe to assume that this single factor and its related implications will now bear negatively on the markets for some years to come. So, one should plan their investment strategy keeping this aspect in mind."

The net profit of JSW Energy stood at Rs 466 crore against Rs 399 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. During the quarter, total revenue increased by 16% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 2,596 crore from Rs 2,237 crore in the year-ago period.

“We expect 12% YoY improvement in core EPC revenues, as we bake in the net impact of monsoon and improved construction activity in the quarter,” Kotak Institutional Equities said in its report.
