We expect our finance minister to continue the focus on building world class infrastructure in India with increased allocation to the sector. With surety insurance, the sector can benefit by way improved liquidity, access to increased project opportunities, release of collaterals etc.

Bitcoin, along with many other cryptocurrencies, had a fantastic yet volatile run in 2021, hitting all-time highs.

Education and health have always received lesser attention in budgetary exercise. I hope that this year, the finance minister sets up some aggressive targets for both education and health and provides sizable allocations to these two social sectors.

The top priority of the government should be to initiate measures to sustain the growth momentum in the economy. In FY22, GDP growth is likely to be around 9.3 percent, thanks to the base effect of 7.3 percent contraction in FY21.
