Gold declines by Rs 353; silver drops Rs 123

In the international market, both gold and silver traded flat at USD 1,836.44 per ounce and USD 21.62 per ounce, respectively.

The bond was opened on May 23, 2022, but will close eight days before the last date of June 10 as the base issue has been oversubscribed

In its probe, Sebi found that the scheme was designed to create an impression of receiving funds through GDR subscription. The total issue size was around 35,37,505 GDRs, through which capital amounting to USD 36.96 million was raised.

The worst fall was seen in the steel sector. Two stocks Jindal Stainless and Jindal Stainless (Hisar) were the top index losers, falling 39 per cent and 38 per cent, respectively, for the month.
